Dining shore
Dining shore explores themes that move between existence and non-existence. I explore differences between natural forms and man-made objects to create something which inhabits the in-between. I borrow from nature and use its principles to apply to my work by re-evaluating the function and appearance of familiar everyday objects. With the dinner table as the territory of exploration, the work rethinks the concept and rituals of dining. I question daily dining rituals and our behavior as we interact with the table, its objects, and utensils.
